- Standard domestic power is all that is required. That’s 240v 10 amp single phase power.
- Always use a Heavy Duty power lead, no longer than 30 metres.
- Do not piggyback 2 leads together and avoid using power boards.
- Ideally run the cold room from a power point dedicated to running the cold room only.
We recommend:
- Designate a person responsible for the cold room to avoid constant opening.
- When stacking warm cartons of drinks, leave a small gap between stacks and at the back to ensure cold air circulates fully around the carton.
- Avoid serving individual drinks directly from the cold room.
- Move drinks in bulk from the coldroom to an ice box (esky) and serve from there.
- Store drinks and cartons on the floor to keep the shelves free for food and plates.
Depending on the ambient temperature on the day, the cold room should be down to temperature within an hour. However, it may take a couple of hours to chill products if loaded warm, just like your refrigerator at home.
The mobile cold room MUST BE LEVEL to operate properly and must have WEIGHT ON THE BACK LEGS. Follow these steps:
- Wind the jockey wheel up or down until the cold room is visually level.
- Wind the jockey wheel down by 6 to 8 turns so it dips to the front slightly.
- Drop the back legs to the ground and hand tighten the leg clamps.
- Wind the jockey wheel back up 6 to 8 turns so pressure is placed on the back legs.
- Plug it in using a heavy-duty extension lead.
Yes, while each cold room is preset for normal cooling conditions (minimum 2 degrees for cold rooms and -18 degrees for freezers), they can be adjusted to higher temperatures for products such as flowers. If you require a different temperature to be set, please advise prior to delivery so it can be set for you.

We offer two sizes of mobile freezers: Freezer Size 41 with approximately 4.1m³ storage capacity, and Freezer Size 47 with approximately 4.7m³ storage capacity. Both walk-in sizes are suitable for various freezing needs.
We offer three main sizes of mobile cold rooms: Standard (Size 26) with 2.6m³ capacity, Tall-Standard (Size 35) with 3.5m³ capacity, and Large (Size 45) with 4.6m³ capacity. We also provide mobile freezers in sizes 41 (4.1m³) and 47 (4.7m³), which can be used as either freezers or cold rooms.
We offer delivery throughout all of Brisbane, Logan, Redlands and Ipswich, as well as north to the Sunshine Coast, south to the Gold Coast, or west to Toowoomba.
Yes, if you choose to tow it yourself, we require a Self-Tow Bond Form to be completed. You will need a small 7 pin round lights connector on your vehicle or an adaptor to suit.
Yes they will operate on a generator, we recommend a minimum 5.5kVa generator for the most effective operation of your cold room or freezer.
For Freezers, the temperature will usually be below zero within an hour but may take several hours to get right down to a minimum temperature of minus 18.
